Feora18にntpをインストールすることに関する記録です。chrony が起動していると ntp が自動起動しないので chrony を停止することからはじめる

ntp のインストール

1. ネットワークアドレスを「192.168.172」と仮定する
2. chrony の起動停止

[root@server]# systemctl stop chrony.service

3. chrony の自動起動解除

[root@server]# systemctl disable chrony.service

4. ntp のインストール

[root@server]# yum -y install ntp

5. /etc/ntp.conf の設定

[root@server]# vi /etc/ntp.conf

# ntp.conf(5), ntp_acc(5), ntp_auth(5), ntp_clock(5), ntp_misc(5), ntp_mon(5).

driftfile /var/lib/ntp/drift

# Permit time synchronization with our time source, but do not

restrict -6 default kod nomodify notrap nopeer noquery

# Hosts on local network are less restricted.
restrict 192.168.172.0 mask 255.255.255.0 nomodify notrap	←内部からの時刻同期を許可する範囲

#server 0.fedora.pool.ntp.org iburst	←以下4行をコメントアウトする

6. 手動による時刻合わせ

[root@server]# ntpdate ntp1.jst.mfeed.ad.jp
20 Feb 10:48:51 ntpdate[10942]: adjust time server 210.173.160.27 offset -0.005203 sec

7. ntpd の起動

[root@server]# systemctl start ntpd.service

8. ntpd の自動起動設定

[root@server]# systemctl enable ntpd.service

動作確認

1. systemctl status ntpd.service の実行

[root@server]# systemctl status ntpd.service

2. ntpq -p の実行

[root@server]# ntpq -p
